It is Christmas Eve in the French community of Marlky, a small town situated close to the German border.
Under the cover of bad weather, US soldiers have reached the outskirts of the town.
Deciding that the Axis forces might be relaxing at this festive time,
Allied Commanders decide to take the town during the hours of darkness.
The Germans are, however, on the alert. Who will win the battle of Marlky?
